Drew44x
Just purchased a Donek Pheonix not too long ago along with a pair of ride insanos. Ive been loving the stiffer setup, its really allowed me to improve my carving skills. Im looking to purchase another used board here at somepoint and im looking for more of a soft boot Freecarver. something with a large side cut radius, 10+. I know that the ride insanos are some of the stiffest soft boots, but would they be okay for pushing a bigger board into carves like this? Or should i just get hardboots?. Looking for something under 300, vintage is okay. Edited February 23, 2021 by Drew44x
scottishsurfer
Insano's should be fine if your technique is sound. As for a used board keep an eye on the buy/sell section of the forum.
