Guest Robert Flagg
I know this year has seen very lean conditions for many of you (especially in the Northwest). So, I'm going to make a shameless plug for my home hill - Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff, AZ. It's not the greatest of carving hills, but this year's snow is unmached. We've even held the rank of 24th in the world for snowpack. Currently, we've got 79" at the 9500ft base and 139" at 10,800ft of all natural snow. This does not count the 8" we got yesterday or the 4" we'll get today. The snowbowl will be staying open at least to April 10th but not closure date has been set. Lift tickets are $42 but you get $10 off each subsequent day during mon-thur buy turning in your old lift ticket. Cheers, Robert
kinpa
I was at Big Sky over the weekend..... they got about 2 feet of new snow while I was there! I was kinda bummed because it wasn't too ideal to break in my new board, but I still had fun! Leave it to a carver to be bummed when there is powder! :)
