dredman
@Corey as captured during the “how many turns can you make” game at the 2020 MCC
Corey
Nice, thanks to all involved! It's funny how smooth that looks considering how freaking hard I was working to get those turns. Board is a Donek MK variation, for those who are curious. That was a flat run!

Corey
No way! I took it as a carving contest, but tiny skidded turns were the way to go. I think the winner did 24 turns to my 11. Something like that. Fun and lots of laughs were had by all!
pokkis
So there were no "rules" what is counted as turn, right? Like two lines to counted as turn lines.
Rusty Edges
I would think the nature of the event would require a Turn Contest to require 2 trenches separated by the board width at transition to qualify as a completed turn. Corey, we all aspire to that level of carving in the video. You made it look effortless.
big mario
The main criteria was that the board had to be a minimum of 45 degrees to the slope. 3 judges counting turns below. Skidding and slarving were okay. It was all about the fun, and keeping the playing field as level as possible mario

Luckily there's no audio to hear my grunting as I pushed the board to make tighter turns! Another rule; longer boards got a longer run-in. That's why there's a picture floating around of my self-labelled "196 cm" Donek MK... The judges totally didn't buy it. LOL! Oh, I miss the snow... Just 8.5 short months until we're back at MCC! Kinda like my attempted run at the end Mario
