Soultrencher
Looking to gather a list of people to hit up when I go carving, generally snoqualmie or Stevens. Where is everyone? -Jesse
lonbordin
@STP is a Snoqualmie local. He's got great style.
dgCarve
I am planning to carve on weekends at Crystal till end of the season. At Snoqulmiae at nights during work week if conditions permit (yesterday it was a skate rink ).
Boomer
Crystal was my home mountain for 23 years. Now, home is Sandpoint/Schweitzer. Schweitzer has some of the best pitch, width and well groomed runs around for carving! ("Down the Hatch" one of many, groomed wall to wall nightly!)
kram
What days do you ride at Schweitzer? There's a small group that rides weekday mornings. 2 or 3 Carvers sometimes 4 or 5. You should ride with us, The lower lift loads at 8:
b0ardski
many happy turns were had today, and we're all boomers
jng
The only other hardbooter I've seen locally in the past few years has been @dgCarve on midweek nights at Snoqualmie West. It's lonely out there.
Soultrencher
I'll do my best to meet up with you guys next season. Bummed this one got cut a little short.
Dan
I'm moving to the Seattle area in the next few months, specific date TBD due to coronavirus. I'll hope to catch up with Seattle carvers next season!
nuisanceIV
I'm up at Stevens quite a bit, I usually ride at both nights and days. There's some other carvers up there you'll run into from time to time. There's also a guy who sends the big jumps in the park with hardboots!
Dhkim559
Anyone going this year? I'm a new guy here and I'd love to meet some people and learn.
Sasquatch_Surfer
I'm (soft boot) carving at Mission Ridge most weekends, there are few hard boot riders there as well. Great terrain for carving there and excellent grooming. If you come over, look for a large guy riding a Donek who likes to turn. We can go for some runs (at least 6ft apart this season). Jon Dahl
If you see a senior citizen on a big free ride board with A/T boots and plates...chase me down! Either Mission Ridge or Stevens Pass Late January or early February, when I'm off work. I'm a lot closer to Canada (8 miles!), but the plandemic has put a king size crimp in me going over the border. Jon Dahl
Anyone going to Stevens Pass Wednesday Feb. 24? If not, definitely going to Baker.
Soultrencher
Not stevens, but dhkim559 and I will be carving up summit central (silver fir) on Friday the 26th. Open to 2pm for me.

I'm just about done with the really big jumps though, I broke some ribs mountain biking last summer and that changed my perspective a bit. I haven't been on this forum much in the last few years but now I'm wishing I had checked in, it would be fun to meet up with some hard booters. Soultrencher
Let's plan to ride next season. PM for alternate communication methods.
Soultrencher
Bump for the season. I will probably be taking every other Friday off work to ride Summit Central Silver Fir. Anyone else flexible for weekday rides? NateW, PM coming.
Soultrencher
Saw a fellow hard booter today riding the silver fir chair. Tried to catch up to them but never was able to.
GetLowBob
@Soultrencher - I've been carving more this season than in years. My local secret is Wednesday nights at Summit West. They're closed Monday & Tuesday, and groom the heck out of the snow. Get on the first chair at 4pm for hours of zipper fun and no lift lines. Apres ski beers at the Timberwolf. Off to Montucky Clear Cut this week, but should be back at West on Wednesday Feb 9th.
Soultrencher
Before kids I was trying to do the same. Unfortunately with little ones, nights and weekends are the hardest. I usually go to silver fir on Friday mornings around 10 to 2. If there's any chance you can do a weekday let me know. I took next week off for MCC but now can't make it, so I'll be trenching up silver fir, dreaming of all the MCC fun.
