Tommy D
I read the carving article in issue 006 of the snowboard journal. That is also excellent! Now I need to get my carving mug-shot into some mass media, and that too will be excellent! Then I can say to my Dad, "look what I did last weekend!" :D
kinpa
If you ask me, I'd say that showing a person carving on a snowboard is the "safe" way for a resort to portray snowboarding! I saw a bill board Saturday morning with a hardbooter on it for Century 21 Real Estate!
Chubz
Being a local from that area in the 70's and 80's, it was cool to see that. Hidden Valley was one of the original resorts in Western PA to permit snowboards on the slopes (early 80's). In fact, it was the first place I ever made turns utilizing a lift. Prior to that, it was all hiking in PA on local hills and golf courses. Soon after, Seven Springs followed. Havent been back in years, but it's good to see they are supporting the carving.
