patmoore
I was riding my Volkl GS board in Davos a dozen years ago when I REALLY had to go to the bathroom. My rear Burton Physic step-in had too much snow jammed in it and wouldn't release. After 15 minutes of struggling I came up with this solution. Corey
Leave the liner on your foot, leaving only the shell behind. I was lucky that my first and last* Intec cable failure happened right at the Bomber demo tent in Aspen. * I should knock on wood now, right? No. Go down to where your boots are and check your cables if you're in any doubt. (written by another who's walked the walk!)
davekempmeister
several times, I have limped along with my liner on my left boot and the shell remaining bound to the board. it does get some looks. what I don't understand is why it is that each of the many times that I have snapped a cable on my intecs, it is always front/left boot. always. i have never had a single occasion to break the one on the right foot. the cable always severs at the point that is nearest the heel block. i assume that i pull them at two different angles, or I do something asymmetrical.
