Dw3
Heading to bachelor tomorrow afternoon for Saturday GS and SL.... I am planning to go out for a few hours tomorrow afternoon but I need some recommendations for a place to go make some turns. I’m not super familiar with bachelor and I don’t want to spend my time looking for good runs for racers
Keenan
Skyliner chair, Cliffhanger run is usually blocked off for races or race training on weekends. The Skyliner run and DMQ (I think that's the name) are also good options. You'll find steeper pitches on the Pine Marten runs. If you already have tickets you can park in the Skyliner lot and not have to walk as far.
Dan
Does anyone know what conditions are like at Bachelor? Do I need a rock board if I'm staying on-piste?
Dw3
As of last week yes, totally jacked my board up bad. It’s now missing a small chunk with visible metal Edited December 27, 2019 by Dw3
Dan
Yeah, I can confirm...I rode the 25th and 27th and there are a fair amount of small rocks on the surface/poking through. I didn't hit anything big as far as I know, but definitely rode over some smaller stuff.
