Hmmm...so the XT model has a 22 waist  - correct?

It seems  SG boards don't rate the boards stiffness or recommended  rider weight ??

I'm 225lbs of Hard Charging Carver that likes a somewhat softer flex "than recommended for my weight" board.... is a Full Race Titan a Race Plank or can us mere mortals bend it??

I got regular SG Full Race Proteam and it works amazing for me, no issues with pushing it hard or bending it. No plate, and I'm 220-230lbs.

Second that. Barry.. you and I took a few runs at bretton woods last season. I was on a 163 full race. I weigh 190 and have no problem on it at all. It's stable, damp and it rips!

I’m 175 and the SG 163 rode beautifully for me. Currently still my all time favorite alpine board. I’m pretty sure I’ve reviewed one on here

If I had the spare cash, I would have already bought it!

I'm thinking like you Barry, every time I log on and see that it's still for sale I almost claim dibs. I just received a one of a kind custom Winterstick 165 Alpine board last spring, that Rips, and I'm trying to save money for when I go to MCC. But DAMN this board is tempting.

My instinct tells me since it's a wider version of the FRT that it is meant for a larger rider (larger feet) and therefore likely stiffer than the regular width  (20.3cm) Full Race Titan.

Edited by bigwavedave
correct typo (23.3 to 20.3)

Hmm??    the  SG website I'm looking at says the waist of  the 163 FR Titan is 20.3cm and the 163XT is 22cm

Hey Rastaman,  can you confirm the waist width of this board to clear this up........

Yes, the waist is 22cm. I don't believe the core is any stiffer or different construction than the regular width version, but not 100% sure.

Still loving the K168!  .....but thinking I want a Turny little bandit  when the trails are packed and this SG163 could fit the bill.

Thanks Rasta for the 22cm waist clarification...........

Somebody buy this!!          My resistance is waning .....ugh!

Hi is the board still available?  And it's 20.3cm waist, correct?

NVRmind, I see the waist is 22 - too wide for my son.

I have ridden one SL board and that is my worn out Nidecker 161 (I think) that I bought in about '02. How would this ride compared to that?

      Hey,

I'm trying to get myself up with a hardboot set up.  I was gifted a Pogo Shaman, and just bought some used UPZ10's off ebay (oops).  I was curious if anybody had some bindings they think would work well for me.  I took the 185 out with a softboot set up and was horribly humbled by a sloppy powder day.  I understand that i will be humbled again by this learning process, but was curious if you all had any suggestions/equipment that you think would help me on my path.

      Thanks!

I'm looking for an SG 163 slalom full race Titan or Pro board in solid condition - standard waist size, with plate insert.
Needing it to have plenty of edge life and no base gauges.
And preferably ridden one season or less.
Please let me know if you have one or know of someone who does!
      Thank you!

This is a used Donek REV 163 alpine board.
The base is in great condition. Zero scrapes or gauges.
The board has plenty of edge life as well as stiffness.
The top sheet has some damage - pictured.
The top sheet has marks from the F Plate (which is also available)
      Shipping from Colorado
      $200 plus shipping
