Popular Post Carvin' Marvin
We had agreed no filming today because we were there for one reason: to F S#!T UP. However Mario was waiting on some meat gates to disperse so I whipped out the camera at the end of the run hoping to catch a solid toeside. Mario was on his super stiff JJA 175 Cyrpress and feeling pretty froggy. For those that don’t know Mario, when he sees a camera you are going to get a show one way or another. He goes into full windup going for a homerun. At the exact apex of the turn, Big Mario’s big force blasted right through his rear boot cuff pivot rivet causing his back leg to collapse unloading all the force of the turn instantaneously. There was a loud pop and Mario went into some sort of horizontal pirouette or spinning Superman. Luckily no body parts were injured in the fall. He shook it off and we continued to F sh!t up. 11 3

slopestar
That could have been ugly. Looked intentional. I would have claimed the flat land, full speed 360 as a hey guys watch this moment. Didn’t get a chance to surf in Hawaii so I’m chomping at the bit to ride... looking forward to seeing you all soon 1

lonbordin
i had a similar failure with my previous pair of boots. It lead to a broken medial malleolus. Glad to read that you're OK!!!

Been there, done that several times on my suzuka's and on my 700's but not this time, Track(SB) 425. Pulled the t-nut right through the cant mechanism, looks like its time to frankenboot already 22 hours ago, lonbordin said: i had a similar failure with my previous pair of boots. Allee
Pffft. I can do that on any run on the hill, and nothing even has to break. Amateur. (srsly tho, glad you're OK, that could have been not cute).
