WTF 2018. Jan 24~Feb 3

Recommended Posts

It was about a foot up top, and most of the way down.  Heavy, so a bit of work to ride, but good to ride pow without crowds.

At Fernie this weekend, and it's rain/snow/fog.  Enough to keep it slow.  BC/DC playing in the village though, so will hit that.

today was a nice warm day and went for a paddle, but it was a clean the river paddle and stayed

out about four and a half hours. beautiful sunny and with a warm lite wind. it has been kinda cold

with the wind from the north. forecast is a cool down by Wednesday in the low 50's. the big still

looks good and no brown spots visible from town. there is still snow on lower elevations. forecast

is some rain and thunder tomorrow. oh yeah! took a picture of a ufo and an alien, but can't upload pic...

a huge pacific front from Alaska is pushing thru and yesterday afternoon it got windy then it rained

all night with some snow on the higher elevations. it is much cooler today and the snow stucked

around all day. colder tonight and maybe more snow and cooler temps thru next week. it has been

nice with warm temps and the rivers were high and it is just beginning to get low about a week ago.

the water temps are still very cold and a quick dip will take your breath away. summer crowds are

just starting and it will get crazy busy...
