Hello MSLM carvers,

Checking in to see who is around and how the conditions are. Thinking I will be there the morning of the 24th and the 26th ... will others be there too? Are the conditions OK yet? Anything open?

We just got a foot and a half of very light fluff, so much snow - I hope your weather fairy has been as kind.

How much is a MSLM season pass and how many times do you have to hit the hill to pay it off? Unless you know of awesome lift ticket deals ... just wondering. There is a small chance I will be in Orillia for two weeks, in which case I may go every morning (because I can :-))

See you Tuesday

Hey I just took your bindings off your board and saw that you had heel lift on the front foot and toe lift on your back foot... the complete opposite of what i and every one else I know rides. Lol so your bindings may have been set up backwards. We will park on the Moonstone side tomorrow so you can pick up your board if you decide to come out and play in the fresh snow tomorrow.

Wow - some things you should just tell people in person instead of posting them where everyone can see. I think when they tuned it they must have reversed it which explains why it was a total gong show when I tried to ride it earlier this week.

Probably not making it tomorrow. But will be there at 8:30 on Wednesday - Moonstone side.

Jan.15.2014

Conditions today : Soft (sugar and ice chunks mix on ice-base ) on most of runs, icy on Promenade.

Temperature : -4 to -3 degrees

They need more snow to recover from rain/warm-temp last weekend. Started snow from 2:00PM.

Hopefully they'll get enough snow over night.

It was icy on Promenade but I enjoyed it. I'll be there tomorrow too.

I called my wife and asked to capture a MSLM webcam picture. (Junk yard)

Almost the same as the conditions the day before, but it was better on Promenade.

I really enjoyed the icy run that day.

Jan.18

We had 4 to 5 inches of snow in Barrie so I assume MSLM got the same amount of snow on the 17th.

I got there late due to working the night shift on Friday. The runs were already a little bumpy when I arrived.

And there were so many people, more than a usual weekend.

Hopefully they pack the runs hard overnight.

Feb.1

-2 degrees. Mid-packed in the morning, soft afternoon due to snow.

I didn't go up today (Sun) b/c got somethings I should do on weekend.

And my knee can take a rest too. Am going up there on Tuesday.

Hi charliechocotate,

How's it going? I heard Cypress has not gotten enough snow yet.

I might brought snow cloud with me from there.

I have a F2 equipe 178 too. I wasn't comfortable with riding narrow runs.

Now here, runs are shorter but wide enough to avoid people.

So I'm using longer boards a lot here.

Please say hi to YVR carvers for me.

Feb.6

-18 degrees in the morning, -8? degrees afternoon.

Hard-packed. It turned great conditions.

I thought it was gonna be soft-packed because of snow yesterday.

A skier came up to me and complained about my trenches today.

He said "how do you feel damaging runs? Yours are too deep." or something like that.

I said "Thank you.". But he was serious.
