Slider
What weight of rider could use that Coiler? Everything I have responded on is to outfit my wife who is 5'1" and about 125lbs. (Don't tell her I let on about her weight) :-)
RacerMom
These boards were made for my son who is now eleven. They were made for a 55-60 lb rider so I'm thinking they would be way too small for your wife. For a frame of reference, I myself am only 4'11'' (on softboots though) and ride a 141. Slider
Kinda what I thought. Thanks for the references. I think we have her in about the right place on a 158 (older Rosi) while she gets her carve legs under her.

Slider
Skiing for about 35 years and in soft snowboard boots about 15. She has had two days on the race board and has trouble transitioning to the stance and the idea of a true carve.

piusthedrcarve
Skiing for about 35 years and in soft snowboard boots about 15. She has had two days on the race board and has trouble transitioning to the stance and the idea of a true carve. I also experienced same with a new carver if the board is too stiff. I set him up with a softer board with softer boots. And then i started to see trenches. Flex was more important than length.
