Rob-CanCarve
Hey Guys: Received my Madd 170 and when I opened up the box - there is glue on and all around the carbon fibre wing. The glue seems to have been from attaching the wing to the top sheet and is in lumps and bumps. Did anyone else experience this on their Madd 170's or 158's??? Thanks for your input. skategoat
Rob: Since we're both in Toronto, I can remove the glue for you. Drop it off at my place on Friday night and I'll get it back to you on Monday <G>. Henry

Chris Houghton
Henry, do you really think Rob will fall for that - next you'll be telling him that you are riding the board to "flex off" the excess epoxy, and you'll need it for another week because it's not completely clean yet. skategoat
Come on Chris. The only riding I would do is to de-tune the edges. I wouldn't want Rob to ride on nasty factory-sharp edges.
Guest ethanpt
mine had it too- I picked it up from the tuner- he said they all have it...no big deal. otherwise my board is perfect
LeeW
yea. my ice prinaha 158 madd had the same thing. i was a bit concerned with the snow seeping in... but turns out it's ok. :D
Fleaman
I think Madd is lucky that the ride qualities of the board far outweigh the aesthetics. If it was a crappy board, I don't think they would sell all that many. I guess they have good customer service too which is a plus.
