casanovaracing
There is going to be a Race to the Cup on Howellson hill on Jan3&4. Some of the best Alpine riders in North America (and the world for that matter) will be competing so please come watch and cheer for the Colorado riders. Also we are in need of any help we can get with the race so if you can assist please contact me at casanovaracing@hotmail.com. All volenteers will get a free lunch and have the opportunity to meet the riders and view the race up close. I hope to see some bombophiles there, Adam Casanova
philfell
Better than volenteer sign up and race. See how you match up against the best of the best. Howellsen is one of the best places in the U.S. to race at, it's one of my all time favorite places to run Sl. If you can't race help Cas out, we need all the help we can get at the races, the guys at Crystal Mt. last year did an excellent job representing the local hardbooters. Guest dragon fly jones
The crew from Eldora are going to race as are the boys and girls from Squaw Valley and some ragtag holdovers from Minnesota. See you there.
Guest dragon fly jones
And see if anyone wants to support snowboard 120m jumping, with the surface area of a snowboard we can whale on those wussy ski jumpers. Hey man, sorry we did not have a real good chance to connect at Breck, maybe later on in the season we'll get a chance to hang for a minute and talk story. Lates! Kinda off topic, but while watching an event out at Suicide Hill, in Ishpeming, MI, I got into a discussion with some friends about this, lol... Has anything like that ever been attepmted??? I am sure there has to be someone out there with the cajones to try it;) :D
Guest dragon fly jones
Something like carnage and destruction, good six pack fodder and I am sure photographic evidence would be proof positive of that.

Hey...don't underestimate Kurt Hoy and TransWorld to take a perfectly good and legit competition and turn it into an unsanctioned hospital fest with either the Smith Limo, too steep of ramp or not enough landing space. I bet if you told Kurt there was a Race for the Cup, snowboarders and a ski jump next to it...he would be there in a NY minute with $500k worth of sponsors, not to mention him showing off pix of him with porn stars from the Sims photo shoot. He's such a ham....

Guest dragon fly jones
Lots of issues to discuss - most of all major timing issues. Holy heck that was nuts. However it was handled and the racing was sick. Justin Rieter in First for the men. Erica Mueller first for the women Quinn Orb in second Kimiko Zarekaski in second for the women Lisa K in Third and not sure about the other men as I had to run out and come back for the coaches meeting. I'll post that that later on. Take care.
