M.Nash
I went out today first time in 10 years back on a board. (I know it's been way too long ). Well I was adjusting the boot ratchets on my new Dee Luxe Indy's when the toe strap broke on the second run. Has anyone else had any problems with the straps on any other Dee Luxe boots and if so any ideas? ?
bobdea
I have broke the leverage clip though how tight did you crank them?
NateW
I've had three pair of the 324/423/Le Mans boots, and never broken a strap. I have broken a couple of cant adjusters though.
garyj
I also ride the Indy’s. The ratchets and the straps are funky, but I’ve never broken one. I did have to change to longer arch straps from the originals ones, just to get the boot buckled. If your really torqueing down the arch strap you may want to try a longer strap, which will allow for more adjustability. Not sure if this is your problem; nevertheless, you can find several strap sizes at Bomber (check out boot parts).
