My wife bought some special glasses from a local science store and made some other contraptions to view with. Pretty cool and my kids enjoyed. First time for me to observe eclipse. Good stuff! I used a canon powershot S3 IS with a 12 power zoom, cost around $300 ...aimed right at the sun full zoom and when I downloaded into photos saw this refraction in the top half of the picture?
