teach
I am not using step-ins anymore. 1) Bomber Fin-Tec step-in heels. The left heel looks almost new; the right has some scratching from rocks in the parking lot. I used these less than one season. I started with Intecs, then found them too slippery on the icy lift-line cattle chutes so switched to these (the urethane heel pad is a great idea). Then last spring I got some Sidewinders and have not used step-ins since. $95 + shipping. 2) Raichle Carbon X-bones Intec step-in bindings. Good condition. These have steel heel receivers so are fine with Fintecs. I used these trying out an "all-mountain" setup, which means little use. They're fairly stiff, good if you want to try step-ins without spending a lot. $85 + shipping. 3) Raichle AF700 boot shells in mondo size 30. I thought I sold these last season, but... well, I guess not! They're way too big for me, primarily because the heel/midfoot area is too big to hold my foot securely. I am using M29 UPZ now, and even those need some extra layers of foam in the heel area to lock my narrow heels in. No liners. Ankle joint rivets have been replaced with loctited bolts (photo coming). $85. Also, I have a pair of M29 Intuition Luxury liners that were too high-volume for me in the M29 version of AF700s, so maybe they'd work well for the M30s for a more normal-shaped foot. Molded once, used once. $110 + shipping. EDIT: $70 plus shipping. Photos coming.
snbrdr1
Interested in the Fintecs. Could you send some pics and let me know what shipping would be to Ohio. Email me at jcrookshanks@ameritech.net
teach
Here is a link to the post last season, with a pic of the AF700s (showing the Fintecs I'm selling, but they're not included; the boots have standard heels). Also the Intuition liners are shown. I asked $70 for them then so I should do that now, too. They're something like $180 new so this is a good deal if they're your cup of tea. http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=33228
