Mike T
I've got a dozen days on mine, and they look brand new. With the abrasive snow we've had, that's pretty good
zoltan
Maybe you will be lucky if they make it through half a season of mamby pamby riding.... I'm sorry, I didn't realize wanting to have dry hands made me a mamby pamby rider.
*Ace*
I believe that statement is referring to the quality of your waterproof gloves, not your riding. Just trying to help a guy out, sorry if it seemed like a personal attack. In general most of the waterproof gloves I have used in the past barely make it past a week or two of carving...let alone a full season of normal winter usage. These gloves flat out ROCK, and for the price you absolutely can not go wrong!
Flywalker
Has anyone figured out how to stop these things from bleeding black over everything?! Great gloves but now l have paw marks on my boards and on my jacket too. NOT cool.

johnasmo
1 part Shoe Goo 1 part Turpentine Step 1: Let sit in a jar for a week to thin the Shoe Goo. Don't rush it. Shoe Goo is not easy to thin. Step 2: Paint on seams and wear surfaces you want to protect. Repeat 2 or three times.
Surf Quebec
I did buy Thor gloves last winter and I pick the wrong size. I asked about switching gloves and there was no problem as I pay the shipping back. I asked to exchange gloves back in march and I received them today. So it is possible to exchange but do not be in a hurry.

Tugboater
Both of the links in the first post are dead. Does anyone have their current site? Are they even still in business?

Jack M
I would be amiss if I didn't point out that those kinco gloves while great in the barn or shoveling snow would't last three seconds at speed while boarding on a hard surface, I go thru two or three pair of the kinco each winter in the barn and aroud the farm, warm, not waterproof but dry fast when wet, pig skin is nice but doesn't last long, hate to see someone injure their pinkies with them inadvertantly. I started using them halfway through last season, and I'm still on my first pair. Add some sno-seal and you're good to go except maybe in rain or really wet snow. At $12 a pair you're still ahead if you go through 5 or 6 in a season.
OhD
These seemed to work pretty well, too. MikeT probably remembers them. Not so great for dealing with zippers...

You can find the 12 dollah special on Kinco at the gas station in Kingfield
