Ladia Posted October 3, 2011 Report Share Posted October 3, 2011 I had a chance visit Frank’s shop last Friday during my trip to Europe. I have to say I was overwhelmed. I never saw so many boards on one spot and most of them I would like to have. I could check various boards, to see how they are made. I came there with idea of mine for next board and during discussion over a lunch I got some education about board construction; the latest development and bunch of my question got cleared. I also saw a lot of boards ready to be shipped around the world. One lucky guy from Ohio will have smile all over his face. You better get some nice lingerie, you new German girlfriend is f….ing sexy. Don’t worry I did not ride her, just touch gently. ;) I also check UPZ ABT boots, they look nice to me. Wider toe box, exactly what I need for my arthritic foot and the flex is pretty soft. I would compare the flex to my modified Heads. They are heavy, but I see them like my next boots. Only problem was I had to try one size up but it was close to get general feeling for boot fit. The last thing I wanted to check was Power lock binding. It seems to be solid design, easy to set up on the hill. I have been Bomber only rider for over fifteen years, but recent events on this forum most likely will push me to different binding. I have to say the visit to Virus is definitely one of the highest points of my current trip. I cannot wait to get back and place order for new board. I had a camera, but I did not think to take pictures and publish them would be appropriate so I even did not ask Frank. Let riders to share dirty pictures of their new German girlfriends.
