The 19-year-old from Collingwood, Ont., tied for second with Seppe Smits of Belgium at 48.9 points, but was awarded the silver medal through a tiebreaker. Petja Piiroinen of Finland won the gold with 51.7 points. Stone's silver is Canada's first ever in the big air discipline at the world championships.
