Bullwings
Sorry dude, i really dislike that mountain. I spent half of my first season on hardboots at that mountain. After I went to Summit, I never went back. that, and I have work tomorrow... I'm pretty much a Sunday regular at Snow Summit (i have a season pass there - good for Bear Mt. too). I definitely have to carve with you while you're out in the SoCal area, though. How long are you gonna be in town? I'm hoping for a least a drop in temps and humidity. i can work with cold temps and artificial snow, i can't carve very much on dirt, rocks, and slush... Real snow is for spoiled people...:lol:

Terryw
Anyone heading there?? I guess I'll be carving alone... as always Just pick the right day, and the right resort, and you can carve with the rest of us! Aaron (oldvolvolsrule) is at Summit today. I was contemplating Summit tomorrow with Don Hopkins (Hopster). He hits Summit almost every Thursday. I try to make it up there on Thursdays as well, due to the lack of crowds. John Gilmour
So i was expecting horrible conditions.... the warm temps and scratch snow from two days earlier seemed...uh oh...and rain too! they groomed it to packed powder perfection.... conquest was great as was every other trail.. it oepned at 9:30am I had a 45- 50mph wipeout on groom... skipped about 7 times over 80 feet. I was going for full layouts on great groom but there were bumps..Felt like I was thrown out of a car... lol Finally got the edge to hook up and had about 20mph left over. funny.. no cuts.. but wow... you should see the bruise on my thigh. as I flew through the air I heard "Your Name is Toby!" I said "kunta kinte" whip smash on the leg... "Your Name is Toby!" I said "kunta kinte" whip smash on the leg... "Your Name is Toby!" I said "kunta kinte" whip smash on the leg... "Your Name is Toby!" I said "kunta kinte" whip smash on the leg... "Your Name is Toby!" I said "kunta kinte" whip smash on the leg... "Your Name is Toby!" repeat 7 times in .5 seconds... Ouch.. fun day though...
Bullwings
Good stuff. Yeah, last I went up there, the only trail I really rode was Conquest, all the other trail had too many terrain features - I didn't want to deal with all of that stuff on my first day wearing hardboots. Ouch.. fun day though... Glad you liked the place. Did you check out Vertigo and Calamity? By the way, since you're an east coaster and Colorado guy, you're probably going to find out that MH never gets moguls. That's the best part about riding with wetbutts!
