John Gilmour Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Hitting the Bear tomorrow... whose riding? Quote
KingCrimson Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Go to Summit, not Bear. Then put your MH tickets on Craigslist.. Quote
Terryw Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Couldn't make it today, but a few of us are contemplating Thursday. Could you make 2 days in one week? Quote
KingCrimson Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Don't bother Terry. The dude is a total kook Quote
Terryw Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Be not so harsh my friend. John has been around a long time in this industry. He has a wealth of experience to share. I look forward to being able to ride with him. Besides, you should give the benefit of the doubt until you actually have some negative interaction with him. Quote

He's a wreckingball on snow and the most generous guy you'll ever meet. Everyone needs to ride with JG at some point. Quote
Terryw Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 So hard to tell when some one is joking with you online, no visual cues. Oh well, sorry to take you so seriously! That's what happens when you don't pay attention to the ride board enough . Quote
John Gilmour Posted December 7, 2010 Author Report Posted December 7, 2010 The bear had rain so we went to MH which was supposed to have snow... but appeared they got rain too when we got there.. Conditions greatly downgraded from Saturday.. frozen granular up top... no full grooming as many spots ungroomed... conquest did not have a single mark on it.. Rocked that in the morning then taught carving let at 2pm. Quote
KingCrimson Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Sorry to hear that- you get used to it! I'm glad you got the goods on Conquest. It's good 90% of the time. When coverage is better, I'll take you down the local's secrets. They stay prime for a long time. Quote
