Dave Winters Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Is there such a thing? Boy, it's been a long time since I had to mount up a Burton. Have a little Factory Prime I'm setting up for one of the boys. Forgot about the stupid 3 hole deal. Does anybody have anything to help me? Thanks-- Dave Quote

BlueB Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 If you had Burton Riser Plates kicking around, you could mount them as an interface between 3d board and 4x4 bindings... Quote
Kitler Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Quick question. Is this typical with all Burton boards? I am buying a Hardboot setup, and was going to put everything on a Burton Custom until I find enough money to buy an actual board. Now I am thinking that is going to be harder than I orginally thought Quote
philw Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 All Burton boards with inserts are either 3D or the new EST/ICS thing, which is worse. That said, you can fit 4x4 F2 bindings into 3D, you just have to set the angles by eye. They used to make 3D titanium plates (as well as the standard 4x4) for F2 bindings, but you don't really need them. I ride old Burton powder boards these days, as the new ones with the EST/ICS don't work at all. Quote
