earthsurfing
Hey all! Hope your turkeys were good and y'all have much to be thankful for. If the Great Pumpkin didn't bring you what you wanted for Turkey day- perhaps you can find it here. Willing to entertain reasonable offers and trades... First up: New 2011 Burton Ion Size 9.5 This is the stiffest freestyle boot they make besides the driver, which alot of hardbooters use for soft/ jib days. Everything, in the box, including rider adjustable different heel dampening pads, etc. Burton Says: In an era when double corks and triple digit airs are the norm, it’s no wonder more Burton [and non-Burton] pros choose the Ion™. Always at the forefront of innovation, this year’s edition features the latest in quick-drying liner science and padding that completely encompasses your foot. Now even easier to lace, the Ion also features the heightened board feel of an EST™ midsole with cushioning that can be adjusted according to terrain or conditions. Yeah- you probably didn't need that if you want these... Retail $400. Looking for $300 + ship or I will contribute the difference (in cash, grass, or gear) towards new SLX in the same size. Next: Brand new with tags and stuff sack Patagonia DAS Parka, 'Golden Palm' Size XL (Really nice Gold, doesn't really come through on the image) Top of the line, warmest compressible synthetic down they make. Always should be in your pack if splitting, hiking, or (especially) overnighting. Seriously- don't go snowboard mountaineering w/o it! Includes stuff sack, doesn't take up much room in your pack, and is probably warmer than your sleeping bag! Some website says: Highest Quality compressible synthetic down you can buy. Stays warm when wet. Patagonia’s Das Parka bomb-proof belay parka just got even more superior in quality with outstanding PrimaLoft® One (170 g in the body: 133 g in the hood and the sleeves), a hydrophobic, more thermally competent insulation that stays beyond doubt warm even when wet, is extra compressible, and takes up considerably less backpack space yet it’s just as warm. The light yet hard wearing quad-ripstop shell (1.7-oz 30-denier 100% all recycled polyester) with a DWR (robust water repellent) finish discards snow and blocks out the wind. An adaptable hood fits over any helmets should you be wearing one, and the high front completely insulates your face. Finer benefits are: insulated hand warmer pockets, a chest pocket, inside mesh pockets for drying gloves and a 2-way front zip that lets you see your belay device. Stuff sack is also included in Patagonia Das Parka. Patagonia Das ParkaSpecifications The Patagonia Das Parka is Patagonia’s warmest synthetic, high-loft protection for full-on alpine conditions: its water-repellent shell is windproof, speedy to dry and durable Insulation: 170-g PrimaLoft® One in the body: 133-g PrimaLoft One in the hood and sleeves Zippered, insulated hand warmer pockets won’t interfere with a harness: two large interior mesh drop-in cargo pockets: draw cord hem: full elastic wrist closures: includes stuff sack Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program Tough, recycled, lightweight fabric is durable water repellent treated for wet weather performance 170-gram PrimaLoft® One insulation is extremely warm for its weight, retains loft and thermal value when wet Patagonia Das Parka oversized hood design will fit over alpine and ski helmets: it has draw cords to adjust overall volume and peripheral vision Modified Y-Joint™ sleeves 1.7-oz 30-denier 100% all-recycled polyester quad ripstop with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish Full, 2-way front zipper with internal wind flap and fold over zipper garage for chin comfort Large, exterior zippered chest pocket Regular fit Weight: 737 g (26 oz) Check out the review on this if your interested in technical insulation. Retail $300. Looking for $200 + shipping or trade for new DAS size L. Finally: New in Box Burton 'Grom Boot' size 11c Brand new... This is 11c- the smallest size they make. Should have 'room to grow' for at least 2 sizes. $50 + ship. http://www.burton.com/boys-boots-grom-boots/231723,default,pd.html?start=1&q=grom Also works as a badass snow boot for the little one even off the board. * * * * Package combo deals or local sales (in VT) encouraged.
