jakem50
Hello. Just joined the group. While I was riding last Fri, I met Loupa5 and he got me into this website. I've been riding freestyle board for past 3 seasons (this is my 4th). I love riding and carving as I just started to doing so :) I do like to do all the jump and stuff like my son is doing..but I rather keep my own body parts and still enjoy myself to be out there and board. Can someone recommend any good new/used board, binding, boots setup for the beginner alpine boarder?

Sultan Guy
Can someone recommend any good new/used board, binding, boots setup for the beginner alpine boarder? Jake-I bought a used Prior 4WD as my first board to learn how to carve. It has been perfect. Best time to buy used stuff is March-May. chris_eco
Great to have another carver at Whitetail... I've ridden with Lou a few times...though I don't get out as much as he does. I have an old Burton Ultra Prime 162 (similar to Lou's) if you are looking to try out a carving board. No spare boots though. Are you Goofy or Regular? Post to the ride board or email next time you head out. Chris
