g-ben
Nice groom, but a little soft this morning at Stump Alley. Just dumped about three inches. Looks like the Osin for Sunday.
Arclite
Just got to the lodge. Chains required 20 miles out of bishop. at least 6 inches so far.

g-ben
Great day for the Osin. Board gets a lot of attention. I think there's a lot of Winterstick nostalgia out there. Some pics from this morning:
carvingchef
<hr> Great day for the Osin.you are right about that, i just had an epic powder day at June on the 4807 with at least 2 feet of fresh powderg-ben i don't think we ever met, if you ever go to big bear we have a bunch of regular hard-booters trenching up snow summit, we'll be there on march 7th if you want to join us, check out the SO-CAL section, we always post there
g-ben
I've followed some of the threads but haven't been able to make any of the meets. Thanks for the invite. I'll look into the 7th. nekdut
Thick, heavy but reasonable pow. Very bad visibility up top. Pretty crowded, but the weather kept the riff raff out of the way most of the time. I saw a 4807 with soft boot bindings in Canyon lodge at the end of the day. Who's was that? g-ben
I was riding on my XBone bindings which, after the first run, I had to totally reconfigure. I thought that setting them all the way at the back of the board would do the trick, but I wasn't comfortable until I switched the rear heal cant into the front toe. Only took about forty minutes :( Mammoth was crowded but Chair 12 and 13 were pretty empty. Some pretty good clean pow over there.
nekdut
I guess that was another 4807 owner, carvingchef perhaps? I'm going to try to be out there early tomorrow to catch the top (hopefully). I'll be in hard boots on a Stubby probably.
carvingchef
no it wasn't me i was on a 4807 and so was my son but we were both at June one of the best powder days i ever had, at least 2 feet of new snow and no grooming and to end the day we came down the face
nekdut
I have friends who want to ride at Mammoth, but I need to get to June to talk to Carl tomorrow regarding SNES. I'll try to split my time appropriately! :)
Arclite
We're loading the car up with all of our stuff. I'm hoping its groomed and hard packed snow. If anyone is riding at June today, we'll probably be on gunsmoke or deer bowl. Look for a purple jacket and black virus, or black jacket and black coiler. AaronG
Look for a purple jacket and black virus, or black jacket and black coiler. A black Coiler?? I don't remember seeing a black Coiler in your past inventory?
Bullwings
Just got back. I rode hardboots on my Coiler - Thursday and Friday. It was a bit soft in some areas on Thursday, but still nice. Friday was great carving till the storm rolled in at around 1:30. Sunday was a full powder day - softboots and Tanker 192. I'll post up a pic or two later. I was staying at Convict lake - nice place, a little farther out than I'd like though.
Arclite
A black Coiler?? I don't remember seeing a black Coiler in your past inventory? Not mine. I thought you've seen it already? Diamond plate? Kinda like your coda, but with COILER on it, instead of CODA.
