DiveBomber
can anyone compare these 2? also what is the difference between the wind and the Fires, is it just the stiffness of the plastic?
b0ardski
Much interest in this question, I've never ridden the burton boots But I love the 123&4 3buckle Raichles for powder bumps & off piste:biggthump, would like to hear some comparisons. bumpyride
Give the Raichles a 2 and the Fires a 6 and the Winds a 4 1/2.
b0ardski
Just for my edification, are the winds the softest of the burtons? I'm keeping an eye out for cheap m26 powder boots.
Derf
No, the Wind are not the softest. 1999-2000: Fire * > Wind / Ice > Earth 1997: Furnace > Reactor > Shadow > Boiler / Freecarve The Fire is a stiffer Wind and replaced the Furnace. The Furnace is a stiffer Reactor. The Ice is a women's Wind with one less clip. The Earth is the same as the Shadow The Boiler is the same as the Freecarve, but with better hardware (lean mechanism, clips) You can take a look at my old catalogs page. But, the first year FIRE ( I mean the first transculant) was the stiffest, much more harder than the younger editions.
