I saw on your post, you guys ride West mountain. I grew up in Lake George. Do you know is Hickory Hill is reopening ? Best regards, pray for snow!

I love West.

Was the very first place I ever went, and spent about 18 glorious days my first season; black and blue bruised and getting beat up teaching myself to snowboard there almost 15 years ago. Its not a "carvers" mountain, except for 2 or 3 trails, and Ive had my HB setup allover that mountian, and can honestly say its far more fun in a softboot-freestyle setup. Lastyear especialy it was insane with ledges, drops, and big burms, and lots of stuff to jump off. Unfortunatley too many tools just sitting around under the good dropoffs and you absolutely needed a spotter to get any real safe air and hangtime without worrying about landing on a person sitting in thewrong place, so it was good to ride with a pack of people and take turns killin-it!

I think I might make more trips than usual out to Windham and Hunter this year on the weekends. Maybe Bellayre (sp?) too.
