Used to ride one before I switsched to Virus (narrow board) but nothing beats a blast on a day of soft snow or in powder. Very versatile. Never broke mine but killed the edge on a rock. Sometimes bowrrow one for powdering.... Go ahaed - if I understand correct Blasts are made with a horizontal layered wood core (only producers) - this being the reason for its superior riding (but I am a rider not a technican).
