shawndoggy
So I'm late to the party but after seeing MikeT's awesome board racks in his garage at OES, and hearing another carver report that he built a board holder to go in his box, I decided it's time to stop letting the boards bang around up top and built an internal rack out of pvc. To be finished with end caps and more thorough pipe insulation, but this gives you the idea:
Hagen
...like that. Now I know what to do with all that left over pvc pipe from the last irrigation project.
powdahbonz
I'm on it-I lucked out this summer and someone junked a Thule Cascade b/c one of the lock cores broke/tore out of the side. Thing was sitting there with all hardware. I kept looking for the hidden camera. I have always been a Yakima guy but the Cascade has more room than my rocketbox on my landcruiser. This rack idea is sweet and prevents the dinging/danging-nice work!! MacGyver would be proud...although I don't see any duct tape
BobD
That's great. I have been thinking about how to build a rack in the top box and that's a simple solution. Thanks. BobD
