artemis
For sale - my good, old Burton Alp. Haven't used it since moving to Montana seven years ago. Freeriding, powder, and glades are too much fun up here - not to mention the grooming is not reliable at some of our down-home, smaller ski areas. That's okay, just hoping someone with a passion for, and access to sweet courduroy will jump on this package and ride this set-up again. Asking $275 for the package. There is another interested party in Idaho - ran into him at Silver Mountain last weekend. Here is the skinny as I emailed it to him: The board is older, and that is about the worst it has going for it. It was ridden mainly in Minnesota, and only a few times out in Colorado. I haven't ridden it since moving to Montana. Point being, it hasn't seen as many vertical miles as if it had been ridden a lot outside of the midwest - those runs are so short (and icy!). There is one cosmetic flaw on top of the board - you will see it in one of the photos - otherwise it is in great shape. It was well tuned and waxed throughout it's use. It has maintained it's camber and flex - great to learn on for entry-level rider, but still has PLENTY of proper flex and is aggressively stiff enough to entertain more advanced riders. The boots are decently used, and always were stored properly with the buckles cinched down to help maintain the integrity of the liners and overall boot shape. Women's size 7. There is an adjustment feature on the boots that allows the rider to set their forward angle. There are only minor cosmetic flaws, otherwise I think they will suit someone very nicely. The bindings - as I mentioned yesterday - I don't know much about. I know they were made by Burton, and are nothing super fancy, but performed just fine for me. Pretty standard plate binding, as far as I know. See the photos for clear illustration. Here is the link to Picasa. It should be public, but let me know if you have problems opening it: http://picasaweb.google.com/dianajankovich/BurtonAlp# I refered to the FAQ's since I haven't posted before. It said people may want reassurance that they are not going to be scammed. I haven't sold anything online before, so I can't give you any references or anything. I can reassure you that I am from Western Montana and we are pretty down-to-earth and honest people here. I just want to find a good home for my old set-up, and I am going to try and help the right person do that. I will provide you with contact info if you are interested, and we can chat later if need be so you know I am not a punk-*ss fraud. No worries. Thanks for looking!
