queequeg
The base looks speckled - am I correct in thinking that this was a quality that only the original Madd158s had? If so ... seems like a STEAL!
GeoffV
Alright who the hell got the board?:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire Looks like I was 2mins to late. For $250 that is an amazing deal on an Orig 58.

Erik J
OK, so I'm the one that bid on the 158. I was pretty excited about this deal but I just got a message from the seller saying that "the item is no longer available due to circumstances beyond my control". Sounds like BS to me. Anyone experience this before / have any suggestions?
tex1230
sounds like someone backdoored you... hopefully you didn't pay yet
b0ardski
The same thing happened to me a few months ago on a sims burner. Nothing you can do as the seller holds all the cards. I'm sure he found out he could get 2-3 times the bid so he pulled the sale:mad:
queequeg
can you file a complaint with eBay? I've seen this sort of behavior before, and it almost always occurs when the sellerended up selling an item for much less than it is worth by accident. Erik J
sounds like someone backdoored you...hopefully you didn't pay yet Exactly what I was thinking, I did pay but the seller sent me a refund. This is literally my first purchase from ebay, I hope I'm not losing any more money through fee transactions etc.

queequeg
file a complaint with ebay:biggthump Seriously! I would be so ****ing bummed out to have a deal like this turned around on me! From the contents of auction, it sounds to me like this guy was not riding the board ... like it was sitting in his basement. It's not like anything happened to it. He found out it was worth much more than he got for it and decided to go back on his deal because he didn't like the outcome. A deal, is a deal, is a deal, is a deal. RDY_2_Carve
Post negative feedback, file a complaint through Ebay and Paypal. Make sure he refunds any fees you were changed to move the Paypal money around... Cruise by his house and shoot his dog too.
