Galen
I've notice the pins on my Intecs are a tad loose, up and down and forward and back. It makes my heel rock about 1/32nd to 1/16th in the receiver. They only have about 15 days on them. I can see that they are rocking in the hole in the heel they protrude from, which is just a tad larger then the pin. I looked at an unused pair I have, and they also rock a tad, just not as much. The heel is screwed solid into the boot and the pins are all the way back in the receiver, so I dont think that's the issue. Has anyone noticed this? Is it normal? Should I be concerned? dingbat
What binding? My Cateks do that. I actualy just replaced the heel receivers this evening. Both the new set and the set I just replaced have some play from the start. The old pair survived an entire season of 210# moron, death-chattering, blown turns with no issues, so I assume the play is fine.
Galen
F2 Ti's. Not a binding issue though, as the pins can be wiggled when not in the receiver. Did a search, seems fairly normal, though people replace them when they get too loose.
rhaskins
I have 2 sets of F2 Intec heels, one used and one new set, but currently unmounted. The new set has no play at all, the used set has over 30 days on them and have no discernable play on the right foot heel, but it has a bit of slight play in the left foot heel, under 1/32 nd of an inch. 160 lbs, regular footed.
