Chris Houghton
Perhaps Frank brought a demo to SES that you can make a deal on at the end of the week?
cail
how about a Virus Tantalus Team Edition? lot of fun to ride http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=23370&highlight=tantalus
Hotbeans
Cail, interesting offer and I may consider that board. Chris, I really wish I were at SES this year! Are you out there? (Good idea, def..) off to work..
*Ace*
I would make a stab at the Tantalus. It is the same exact specs as the Gladiator except it doesn't have a 3D topsheet. I think you actually might have some trouble getting it out of Cail's paws...
Hotbeans
Yeh, possibly. I have a WCR that I suspect is closer in personality to the tantalus than the gladiator. I wouldnt mind a test ride, though....
Chris Houghton
I've ridden both boards, HUGE difference in ride. The Tantalus is quite friendly, where the Gladiator is more, um, performance oriented. I mean that in a good way! Specs alone do not tell the whole story. John H
I've also ridden both boards. I liked the Team Tantalus more than the Gladiator.
*Ace*
I bet almost EVERY Virus rides differently. It all depends on whats in it and the the flex. I've ridden both boards, HUGE difference in ride. The Tantalus is quite friendly, where the Gladiator is more, um, performance oriented. I mean that in a good way! Specs alone do not tell the whole story.
Hotbeans
I just got back from 6.5hrs of freakin' perfect railing conditions. WCR makes me laugh with what it can do.. it can rail tight salolm arcs and tail-pop me into the air during transitions..or..laid out EC...or..sweeping, hands skimming 2" off the deck, gs carves. After a day like today, I'm wondering just how much a Gladiator, tantalus or whatever can offer above what I've got:1luvu:.
