caspercarver Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 in the video i made recently http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsAtK47c8PM we used the same camera, stabilization was on, auto focus was on. anyone have any ideas why the second guy in the video is almost always out of focus and jittery? any ideas? thanks. carvedog Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 Hey CC, Nice vid btw. Way to push the envelope with those 180 switch carve landings. It looked like on a few shots you exceeded the optical zoom and went into the "digital zoom" area. Is there some different frame rate setting that could have gotten switched. caspercarver Posted February 12, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 12, 2009 the camera has a 10x optical zoom. plus a 2x telephoto. i checked on the setting and everything was correct. i had someone tell me that video cameras have a hard time focusing on dark colored fast moving objects on snow? next time we go out, sam will have to wear something with color. cheers.
