OT: Kerry's hooked on board sports

According to our own John Gilmour---- Kerry slaloms.I'm still digging for the link from last week of the AP and Reuters photos of kerry kiting on Nantucket. The guy is 62 and rips on a windsurfer and has the guts and determination to learn to kite...and kites very well at that. check out this wednesday on inside edition if you're in the Boston area.http://www.insideedition.com/headlines.htm Wednesday, July 28 Kiteboarding

We're used to seeing our presidents playing golf and jogging, but if Massachusetts Democrat John Kerry ends up in the White House, get ready to witness a whole new presidential past-time. It’s called kiteboarding, but as Inside Edition’s Matt Meagher found out, while kiteboarding is certainly more exciting than many other sports, it can also be a lot more dangerous.

To me, Kalamazoo sounds funny but there's really nuthin' funny about it at all......

Ais and Bob, We have access to trainer kites that are fun to learn and not dangerous like thier big brothers. I do have some extra beater gear to learn on but you really need to master the little kite first. I can set you up with your very own trainer kite for $100. Used gear is getting cheaper as more people get into the sport. It's beach access that's becoming a problem but don't worry, we have a boat to take you to the "secret" spots.Did you guys know that we saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Newbury at Louis of Boston/ Armani outside last night....For FREE!

Skateboarding!

I mean, kiteboarding!

Nope..forget that.....longboarding!

Urgh...darn it, I really meant skateboarding like I first said.

Then again, kiteboarding is really cool.

But, surfing will give me more Cali votes!

Since I already won California....I'll stick to longboarding.

First, I'm going to take a lesson. Then, I'll go back and film the lesson (after I learned) and pretend it's my first time on the board. Then, people will really like me. I don't care if they respect me....just whether they like me. That should give me enough votes!

But, WTF am I going to do once I get the job and actually have to work? Sheesh...I've missed 80% of my Senate votes!

Life is good.

Hey... how much wind do the trainer kites get? Would it be be strong enough to drag me on a longboard without dragging me off the longboard (maybe I'll want straps)? Like I would only need a gentle, but constant pull.
