Louis
Hey guys, I'm trying my new F2s... it looks like by boot sole is too thin, there is a gap (in height) created between my metal brace and the boot, is it normal ?!
Louis
Perhaps I did not tighten them enough, i keep twisting the screw and it seems always easy to close !!!
carvedog
If this is something that looks like the Burton race plate. It should be snug as it clips in and as the plastic toe bail comes to the boot it will relieve a bit of the pressure. There should be no up and down movement between the boot and binding. Or very little. Try going tighter until it starts to become hard to clip in and then back off the tension a bit. The heel bail springs are usually designed to hold the bail a bit higher than you need to make it easier to get in. Then the bail moves back as you clip it in. Hope this helps. www.oldsnowboards.com
Some have an adjustable toe bail, others do not.
