Most people don't know this but two other racers who were on the team at the same time as Rebagliatti, were busted for growing (a lot) of dope in Maple Ridge, BC. He didn't get busted at all. He had to give back a medal while they made sure that the second hand smoke that he ingested was of appropriate quality to qualify for interior BC standards. Oh yeah.
