I lived there for 13 years and recently moved to the Aspen area. That said the Aspen area blows T-ride away for hardbooting BUT Telluride can be a lot of fun if you hit the grooming right. Bushwacker is claimed to be the steepest groomed run in america it's not the longest by far. When it's groomed and it has snow it is a blast but both of those situations are a rariety there. Look out for a lot of rocks if the snow conditions are average. For steep and deep it's hard to beat when the big dump comes in, but almost any mtn in Colorado/Utah is hard to beat when it's dumping.

If you move there I am sure you'll get some epic days for everything and not be overly disappointed BUT if you are looking to get the most bang for the buck there's better.
