newcarver
Finally got out on my new SG Cult! Never had a new board that wasn't already outdated. Was wondering how a new, modern board would fair against old stuff. After only getting about 5 runs on this board I can say that new is much better. Did not get to carve very much as the slopes were too crowded, but did get a chance to run in some 1' pow and on a very steep bump run. Both of these environments are foreign to me in hardboots but I had no problems with it. Actually felt easier with higher angles and hardboots. I was riding with TD2's and suspension with AF700 boots. Ended up with 42 and 34 deg angles and this felt fine. Only problem I had was on the bump run. My shins started getting sore from my boots. Might be the race tonges that are on them. All I can say is that I love this board and will probably ride it all the time now in all terrain. Hope to buy a carving dedicated board at some time, but we are getting so much snow that this board is definitely the ticket right now.
