Spiny Norman
http://www.dalbello.it/Free_Ski_Boots.aspx?CAT=Free_ski&CAT1=Free_ski&PRODUCTID=6201 Looks almost to soft to ski in except for what its designed for of course. Opinions on it as a freeride snowboard boot. Merry Yuletide! Thanks, Spencer
b0ardski
2 questionable points. last/sole length? lateral flex?
snowboardfast
A number of years ago I tried to use a pair of boots similar to this and they did not work well.Ski boots do not have the right flex for snowboarding. Stick with hardshell snowboarding boots. There is a reason why they are still being made. Also the soles will be too big which forces you to ride angles that are too steep. LeeW
well, i'm the opposite. I use my UPZ hardboot snowboard boots for freestyle skiing. They're perfectly fine for me, except it's a bitch to get my feet in and out. It's the older version -- the red one with uber uber stiff grey tongue. Tho I'm very keen with the new UPZ boots (either white or black -- as long as the tongue's a bit "softer" tho Im afraid it might compromise my skiing which I'm already real accustomed to for the last 4 or 5 years). Mtrappy
Most of the racers are on the Krypton I.D. Pro's which is the same boot. It is an amazing boot for snowboarding because it has lots of forward flex and not to much side flex. and there are many options for a forward flex. KingCrimson
I'm surprised when people say that there are many riders on Ski boots. Seems like all the successful racers I've seen have BTS.
