tex1230
Son my son has Spring Break this year and FINALLY it falls BEFORE the mountains close in Colorado, So I can get out there and see my wife's family in Denver and get 3 or 4 days in the mountains. Question is, since it's been a looooooooong time since I've ridden colorado that late in the season, is any of the Summit County areas a better bet than the others? I found a ridiculous deal at Beaver Creek, which is one of my favorite carving mountains, but if there is any major reason to go to another mountain over BC that time of year let me know, as late season lodging seems pretty reasonable everywhere. Jeffrey Day
Stupid question: Spring break falls in the month of March, right? Towards the end of the month, right? Summit County is a great place to be!!! Beaver Creek is a great mountain! Copper Mountain, another great option! Oh, can't forget about Keystone at night, if still operating their night program that time of year! I've never been to Loveland, but hopefully one of these years! And last but not least : A-Basin!! Choices, choices, choices!! You'll have a blast!
inkaholic
Tex, During spring break time you will be able to ride any mountain in CO that you choose. We usually get a lot of snow in March and April so you will pretty much have your choice of what conditions you would like to ride and where. Take your pick then come join us at Lovey for a day. tex1230
This is 2nd week of April. Plan as it stands (due to family commitments) is possible riding/skiing with family on Saturday 4/11 maybe Loveland or Copper (really depends on if certain family members are into it), Then Monday-Wed riding at BC. inkaholic
Come to Lovey at that time. The snow will be marginally better being higher altitude and we are a lot of fun. Keep us posted. Maybe we can even get Big Mario to fire up the grill :)
