MJB
Today was the GS. 1st set was a bit straighter and open (max distance), and ran low 56 for men, 2nd run was a bit tigher and turnier (25-26 m) and ran 1:03 Mens Kristin (SSWSC) won the second run and his first Nor Am win today. Michael Trapp (SSWSC) achieved his first nor am podium today with a 2nd Darren Gardner (TEAM CSC) achieved his first nor am podium with a 3rd Cody Ratcliffe (TEAM CSC) won the first run, and finished 4th. Womens Erica (USST, SSWSC) won both runs, and the day. Lynn was 2nd. (independent). Madeline Wiencke (SSWSC), her 3rd Nor Am podium it was -25 and windy. a real challenging day for sure. The terrain moves like real GS terrain, turny, steep, flat, chicane section. Today (sunday) was -31 plus wind, so the slalom was cancelled. tough decision for the jury for sure.
