eajracing
whats the drop-dead date for registration? very interested, but very difficult for me to commit this far out due to the nature of the other stuff I do when not riding... until then, I'm a big maybe. yyzcanuck
eaj... there really isn't a drop dead date. This is going to be pretty informal. Hopefully we can organize a few group rates for lift tickets but other than that it's pretty much do as you please. We'll try to let everyone know via email (JOIN THE LIST!!!) and this forum about any sort of deals. We hope to find a bar/restaurant near each venue for some Apré Carvé. WEBSIGHT360
I will be attending this event alone, driving from London, Ontario. I just started to think about accomodations. Does anyone have any suggestions? Perhaps some of the local people can suggest an inexpensive hotel nearby each location?
andreac
Hi All, we have just gotten a really great offer for while we are all at SQS. A fellow carver (Sean K., don't think he has a BOL name) owns a bar/restaurant called Fat Mardi's right in Mt. Tremblant's village and he has invited everyone involved with SQS (and their families) for staff prices on drinks on Sunday or Monday. This offer includes draft beer, wine by the glass and house liquor. Please mention that you are a part of SQS when you place your order. So drop in have a beer and some yummy food too! Sean will be riding with us on Monday (and maybe Sunday) so we can all say hi and thanks! Thanks Sean!
CaRtharsis
Andrea/Dave please add me to the Yes list with a likely +1 and a maybe +2. I know, I'm trying to push them off the fence. BTW, is there a particular place most people will be staying? End of day beverages are best enjoyed in groups!
swoopy
Great place for drinks.. Kevin the bartender has been there for many years & is a great guy. Ernie00
Here's a few places I have found on my way up to tremblant. I haven't been to any of the places so I'm trying to best describe them from the outside look http://www.royallaurentien.com/en/chalets/cha-tarifs.html Different cottage for rent.. they were advertising 3rd night at 50% www.chalets.ca other cottage for rent http://www.motel-des-pays.com/inhalt_en.html 70 to 105$ CND night looks nice http://www.leradisson.com/page0002.html 63 to 82$ CND another one that looks pretty good from the outside. http://www.motel-st-moritz.com/cfm-e/activites.cfm another motel.. no prices on their web site. Looks Ok, nothing spectacular! http://www.escapadelaurentide.com/ 64 to 151$ they have a few options and little spa / sauna. http://www.motelclair-mont.com/en/english.php?site=index.html no price but looks nice from the pictures. http://www.lesaintfaustin.com/prix-a.html right next to Mont Blanc.. 20-25 min from Tremblant 87 to 129$ There is a comfort inn that you can find and probably many other small Motel / B&B but that's enough for me ! I hope this help.. exchange rate is about 20%... so 1$ US = 1.20$ canadian .. give or take a little

Dice, you should have received a confirmation email from our sign-up system. Check your spam box? It's a double opt-in system. I checked the list... if you're A__R, you're in the email list. Here's what to do... take Friday March 27th-Monday March 30th off work... drive to St.Sauveur or St.Adele, get a motel/B&B and come ride with us at Mont Habitant on Saturday. This is a pretty informal get together. Lift tickets are priced fairly reasonable for the first 2 venues. Tremblant not so cheap.
