tex1230
Not wanting to hijack the UPZ thread any further than it already has been... Anyone using foam liners ever switch them between ski and board boots the same day? I have Head ski boots and Head stratos pro boarding boots (both the same shell size) - was considering getting a foam liner - could I switch the liners between the two shells during the day? Any problem/disadvantage to doing that?
Ray
Unfortunately this will not work really well. Since the liner is being injected in one shell, it forms itself with high pressure to exact that form. Every little gap and hole will be filled out. If you now take this liner and put it into another model shell, it will not fit the same and probably create some really nice pressure points. The only way this would possible work is if you switch from hard shell to soft boots, maybe.
