fin
Doug Dryer from Bend, Oregon stopped by the shop this week on his western tour of the best carve resorts from Oregon to here. Now, I always thought I had a good collection of big decks. For example we actually had 2 Burner 197s at Beaver Creek last Friday. But Doug brought these guns into the shop to make sure we knew who was the boss. I believe (Doug correct me if wrong) starting from the right: (all Tinklers) 201, 228, 252, 283 We had to photo them in the shop area as the 283 is 9'4" and would not stand upright in the front area. paragonUE
is that 283 a split nose? that quiver is probably worth more than my house
photodad2001
What's the radius on the 283? I couldn't image riding the lift with that monster on my foot, especially if it was windy!!!
Dave Winters
You go, Doug!!!! We used to call longboard surfboards Mals (short for Malibu). These definitely qualify. At 9'4" there are shorter Mals! You know what they say about men with big guns....
freecarver
I think the most panicking is to stop this stick at the end of the slope. Do you think any other way except going uphill? I'm interesting to know the hole specs. as well.
Snowman
Long boards always rule, but now I feel humbled. Think Snow

Dave ESPI
9'4" damn thats a big sword. I'd almost think they would have rope lariats on the nose and tail of it to help bow it inward with use of the riders arms to get a tighter turn radius... Kinda like a snurfer nose rope. LOL. Bricky
Does the 283 have a parachute to stop it at the lift line? Like a fuel dragster. Bricky
RJ-PS
What's Doug doing in Colorado when the OES is in full swing!!! Doug come home!!!! The biggest board at OES right now is a 210. With the 200 Tankers coming in a second.....those boards are unreal.

NateW
During the course of an average loop from the top of the chair, to the base, through the line, and back up to the top, how many times, on average, do you have to answer this question: "Holy shxt, how long is that thing?" big canuck
That is over the top!!! I was blown away by the 252, your new stick is CRAZY!!! Post the specs on that thing and some video of you riding it too like the clip on the 252. Dude, you win. All my boards are for sale, I'm out.. rwmaron
283 centimeters!!! How does he - get this thing from place to place? (it sure wouldn't fit in my sport box); - find enough time to wax the whole thing? - keep folks off the tip and tail in the lift line? I was going to ask about going to the airport, but doubt that he would ever let a baggage handler touch it.... I second the motion for specs and some video!!! kmartshopper
If that famous photo of that petite woman standing next to the huge tinkler board was still up, it could honestly be captioned "I went with the short board today." ________ Knee problems advice
