Guest shrederjen
I decided to not miss the boat on this one. I was able to get in 2 sessions with John, last week. He started out by recommending some stance changes, before we even met. Just from evaluating a few pictures, he knew what was right and what was wrong. During that first session, I learned how to carve my board, not just ride my board! 2 sessions were not enough. After I ride (and race!) for another 10 days or so, I hope to get in a few more sessions. If you have the opportunity or want to better your riding, I suggest you contact J. Gilmour, while he is still here and willing to help out. Gilmour is a great coach, a good teacher, and now, a friend. John will probably slap me around for this one, but, he is a nice guy, too. :) Thanks John, Jen
bobdea
Agreed, I've never heard a bad word about the guy and he knows EVERYONE who's been around on the east coast for awhile. LOL, he has a way of saying things too something like "pick up that purse!" can often be heard when in his company.
