jtslalom
Back in November I shot a nice six point. It had a 16 inch spread. I shot it in NJ during the fall rut with my bow. There was a big eight under my stand that I couldn't get a shot at and also a small basket 8 that I didn't shoot. Two weeks after this I took my 10 year old nephew out for youth shot gun day. This is a day where any one from 10 to 16 can hunt for either sex deer for the day prior to all the other gun seasons opening. Well we got in the stand at 6:30 and at 6:45 a spike buck walks directly under the stand. I really wanted him to wait for that 8 point that I saw two weeks earlier but he took the spike with his 20 gauge single shot. One good shot in the shoulder was all it took. todd
No bucks this year, but not a bad bull. Hunting in Colorado on a great friend's (and fellow carver) ranch. We was a 6 x, but he had broken off one, so guess he's just a 5x6. But a beautiful bull. European mount.
