wavechaser
Maybe not as long as you want but...great AM board. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?t=17814
b0ardski
I know the atomic is a good board, but I have the 169. For the deep heavy pow the grocer ruled at 186 w/twin tips, a must as I freeride & carve switch all the time. I cant afford a new tanker or I'd buy the 182 today. If you know someone w/ a used one in that range I'd be interested,
Dr D
I can probably find you a new old stock or slightly used identity replacement. I hang out with the original builder occasionally. He also makes a new board called a garage and the 178 carbon would blow you away.
b0ardski
Way want me a 178 carbon tell john the 173 rocked untill I broke the core spinning off a chunk of avy debri. I got that board when Blacktail opened and it ruled all conditions, it's a cap w/ carbon rods kevlar stringers, a little wide for my 27.5 feet but underhang aint so bad. tell him I'm the guy that rides w/ poles, he'll remember me. Dr D
the 178 garage is the same animal. cap twin tip construction with or without carbon stringers. with its stiff and mean. without its a little milder same geometry as identity and same construction hi points. there will be one you can probably demo for sure one of my buddies rides my old one and he will be there. jon will be around some of the time as well. b0ardski
stiff & mean is exactly what I want for an all mountain ruler. 178 might be big for trees but I have the 3800 for that. If you have a used 178 you'd sell that's good, otherwise replacing the 173 NOS or used would be great. Might be a couple months before I can afford a new garage;love that name.Still the finger print graphic?
Dr D
nah the graphics are updated and pretty cool. all garage related themes for the most part. he has one with a big photo of big mtn and a few with custom graphics. mine was a huge screwdriver and a line of screws. b0ardski
How about an old t-handle crosscut saw w/big mtn painted on it. I know I want this board, it's a given. I'm not gonna replace the grocer now cause I'm sure the Garage is what I need:cool:
