MJB
An social opportunity to get better, meet other hardbooters and so on. Hope this will work out. Calgary local hardbooters (and wannabe hardbooters) that are over 30 years old. -Monday nights at COP 7-9. Any other plans will be made while drinking beer :) It's to get better at hardbooting, get some coaching and run some gates. Drop me a line to get involved! MJB
Hey, this looks good. There are 4 masters interested so far... And maybe Stu and Rob? cool. We will start January 7th. (I am in Europe up till then at races with the high performance team). We have training space reserved for those times at COP.
Allee
I'd like to try my hand at running some gates, without getting right into the whole scene ... and I can handle the odd beer ...
MJB
Allee - I think thats what most have expressed - get better at hardbooting, try some gates. Its a real social and skill improvement opportunity more than anything. and to get carvers together a bit more.
bartron
I may be moving out of AB for work by then. If not, then I'll definitely be there. We had similar evenings in Quebec, run by the coach of the Quebec racing team. Great stuff. 'later...
Guest old knees
I think I still remember how. I just wanna watch Stevens scare the crap out of himself.
big canuck
with Chad H, he says he'd be keen but probbly won't make it every Monday. Jeff Collins is in and my bud Bruce is stoked. Up the # by 3. Mark, is COP giving you a good deal on the lane? What sort of dough are you lookin for from attendees? I emailed SRECSKY through his profile to see if he'd be interested and maybe he can get in contact with the group that attended NES. It'll be wild seeing more than 2 HB guys on the hill. Riceball
Thanks for he email Kurt! I never visit this section of the forum. I typically have hockey or soccer on Monday evenings, but will ditch either for a least a few sessions. I'm not a racer, just a carving enthusiast. Please send me the details. Thanks, Steve Recsky
big canuck
you Steve, I have no racing ambitions and expressed that to Mark. He seemed pretty OK with that. It should be fun, I'm just looking to improve, I can make it down most hills OK but I know I could be WAY better. Talk with you soon.
